Imtiaz Group, one of Pakistan's largest retail chains, is looking for an experienced ABAP Developer to join its in-house IT team in Karachi. The role focuses on building, enhancing, and supporting SAP-based business solutions that keep the company's retail operations running. It suits a developer who enjoys working on enterprise systems at real scale within a fast-moving retail business.
What we're looking for:
- Proven experience as an ABAP Developer, ideally in a retail or large enterprise environment
- Strong command of ABAP programming, including reports, enhancements, and interfaces
- Familiarity with SAP modules such as MM, SD, or FI
- Ability to analyze business requirements and deliver reliable technical solutions
- Good communication skills and a collaborative working style
- Based in Karachi or willing to work on-site in Karachi
Key Responsibilities & Deliverables:
- Design, develop, and maintain custom ABAP programs, reports, and interfaces for SAP systems
- Enhance existing SAP modules to meet evolving business requirements
- Build and support forms, workflows, and data interfaces across business functions
- Debug and troubleshoot ABAP code to resolve production issues
- Work with functional consultants and business users to turn requirements into technical solutions
- Support SAP system upgrades, testing cycles, and documentation
