Nestlé Pakistan is looking for a field-based agriculture professional in Burewala to run farm extension and development work across the region. You will secure a steady supply of quality fresh milk and other farm raw materials, help farmers and agripreneurs build stronger businesses, and make sure everything meets Nestlé's quality, food safety and sustainability standards. The role blends hands-on fieldwork with suppliers, farmers and local authorities, and suits someone who understands rural communities and modern dairy farming.
What we're looking for:
- University degree in Agriculture, Veterinary Sciences, Animal Husbandry, Agronomy or a related discipline
- Preferably 2-3 years of experience in the dairy, agriculture or agronomy sector
- Understanding of rural communities, farmer development and raw-material production systems
- Knowledge of modern dairy farm management, fodder production and sustainable farming practices
- Working knowledge of risk assessment, food safety, hygiene, quality assurance and sustainability
- Ability to build trusted relationships with farmers, suppliers, government authorities, NGOs and internal partners
- Fluency in English and relevant local language(s)
- Strong work ethic, self-motivation and integrity, with the composure to handle challenging field situations
Key Responsibilities & Deliverables:
- Hit regional business and raw-material sourcing targets through careful planning and good use of resources
- Run the sourcing, collection and on-time delivery of quality fresh milk and farm raw materials to Nestlé's specifications
- Coach farmers and new investors on modern dairy farming, sustainable methods and sound farm investment
- Build lasting direct sourcing channels by finding and onboarding new farmers, suppliers and agripreneurs
- Advise suppliers as a subject expert to lift farm output, raw-material quality and profitability
- Train farmers and milk sourcing agents on quality, food safety, hygiene and quality assurance
- Build trusted ties with farmers, suppliers, government bodies, associations and NGOs
- Follow Nestlé policies, local rules and the WHO/Local Code in all sourcing and farmer engagement work
