The Establishment Division (Main) of the Cabinet Secretariat is hiring one Assistant (BPS-15) in Islamabad under the 6 percent Balochistan quota. This is a regular federal government post for Balochistan domicile holders, and selection is through a walk-in interview at district level with no written test. The role suits a fresh graduate with good computer skills who wants to start a career in federal government service.
What we're looking for:
- Graduate degree from a recognised university
- Must complete a 6-week Basic IT Training Course (including MS Office) by NITB during the probation period
- Age 18 to 28 years on the closing date, with upper age relaxation as per government rules
- Valid Balochistan domicile is required
- Selection is by walk-in interview only; there is no entry test or written test
- Government employees must apply through the proper channel
Key Responsibilities & Deliverables:
- Handle office correspondence and prepare drafts, notes and summaries for senior officers
- Maintain files, registers and records of the section in proper order
- Track pending cases and follow them up with the concerned sections
- Prepare statements, returns and routine reports for senior officers
- Use MS Office to prepare documents, spreadsheets and presentations
- Coordinate with other wings of the Division on administrative matters
- Guide junior clerical staff and check their work for accuracy
