Information Technology University of the Punjab (ITU) in Lahore is hiring an Assistant Director for Planning and Development on a contract basis for its ADP-funded projects. The role supports the planning and execution of development initiatives at the university and suits someone who has worked on academic or development projects before. Selection is purely on merit and applications close on 23 November 2026.
What we're looking for:
- 16 years of education (Master's) from an HEC-recognized institution
- 3 years of relevant professional experience, preferably in project planning
- Prior experience managing development or academic projects is preferred
- Strong documentation, reporting and coordination skills
- Age between 25 and 50 years
- Only complete applications received by 23 November 2026 will be considered
Key Responsibilities & Deliverables:
- Assist in planning and executing development projects under ADP-funded programs
- Prepare project documentation, proposals and progress reports
- Coordinate with project teams, departments and external stakeholders
- Monitor project milestones and timelines against approved plans
- Support budgeting, resource allocation and utilization reporting
- Ensure development activities follow institutional and government guidelines
