The Skills Development and Entrepreneurship Department of the Government of Punjab is looking for an Assistant Manager (Full Stack Developer) to join its Lahore team on contract. The role supports the department's digital platforms, including its management information system, learning management system and analytics dashboards, which power skills training programmes across the province. The selected candidate will build and maintain web and mobile applications used by the department and its partner institutions. This is a full-time, on-site contract position based in Lahore, offering a lump-sum monthly salary of Rs 145,000.
What we're looking for:
- 16 years of education in Computer Science, Information Technology, Artificial Intelligence, ICT, Software Engineering or an equivalent field from an HEC-recognised institution
- Hands-on skills in React.js/Next.js, React Native or Flutter, and Node.js (Express/NestJS)
- Working knowledge of Prisma, SQL databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB)
- Understanding of API design, Git and basic DevOps practices
- Maximum age 40 years as per the advertisement
- Ability to work on-site in Lahore on a full-time contract basis
Key Responsibilities & Deliverables:
- Build and maintain web and mobile applications for the department's MIS, LMS and analytics platforms
- Develop responsive front-end interfaces using React.js and Next.js
- Build cross-platform mobile apps using React Native or Flutter
- Design and develop back-end services and APIs with Node.js (Express/NestJS)
- Model and manage data using Prisma with SQL databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL, and MongoDB where needed
- Use Git for version control and support basic DevOps tasks such as deployments and environment setup
