Salary: PKR Negotiable
DIC, the printing inks business of Packages Group, is looking for an Assistant Manager Planning for its Karachi plant. The new hire will run the production schedule, plan raw material needs, and keep track of raw material, semi-finished and finished goods stocks so customer orders go out on time. The role sits at the junction of Sales, Technical and Production, keeping all three aligned, and reports directly to the Factory Manager. It is a permanent, full-time position.
What we're looking for:
- Bachelor's degree in Science or Engineering, ideally Industrial, Chemical, Polymer or Mechanical
- Familiarity with ink manufacturing processes, or process engineering in an FMCG or manufacturing setting
- Working knowledge of IMS and HSEQ practices
- Solid command of SAP S/4HANA and Microsoft Office
- Strong verbal and written communication plus basic project management ability
Key Responsibilities & Deliverables:
- Build and maintain the production schedule so sales orders are executed on schedule
- Act as the link between Sales, Technical and Production teams on order status and manufacturing needs
- Forecast raw material requirements and watch material availability to prevent production stoppages
- Manage stock levels across raw materials, semi-finished and finished goods
- Push continuous improvement in planning routines and shop-floor efficiency
- Use SAP S/4HANA for planning, inventory tracking and materials coordination
