Salary: PKR 145,000 - 145,000 / mo
The Skills Development & Entrepreneurship Department of the Government of Punjab is hiring an Assistant Manager for Policy & Planning in its Strategic Planning Unit in Lahore. The unit is the department's central policy, planning and coordination arm, working across Punjab's skills ecosystem including PSDF, TEVTA and PVTC. The appointment is on a three-year contract with a lumpsum pay of Rs 145,000 per month, extendable on satisfactory performance. What we're looking for:
- 16 years of education in Public Policy, Economics, Business Administration, Management Sciences, Human Resource Management, Statistics, Computer Science, Marketing or Finance from an HEC-recognised university
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving and analytical writing skills
- Good understanding of governance frameworks and public administration
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross-departmental coordination
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Age up to 40 years.
Key Responsibilities & Deliverables:
- Carry out policy research and analysis to support skills-sector planning
- Prepare evidence-based briefs, notes and reports for senior management
- Support the planning, monitoring and coordination of skills development initiatives
- Coordinate with departments and partner organisations across the TVET ecosystem
- Track governance, regulatory and policy developments relevant to the sector
- Prepare documentation, presentations and correspondence using MS Office.
