Martin Dow Limited, part of one of Pakistan's leading pharmaceutical groups, is looking for an Associate Manager IT Infrastructure & Cloud for its corporate office in Karachi. This is a permanent role within the group's IT function, responsible for keeping enterprise infrastructure and hybrid cloud environments secure, stable and available. The position covers data centres, networks, servers, virtualization, Azure and Google Cloud, Microsoft 365, backup and disaster recovery across the group's sites. It suits a hands-on infrastructure specialist with five to eight years of relevant experience.
What we're looking for:
- BS degree in Computer Science, IT or a related discipline
- Five to eight years of relevant experience in infrastructure and cloud environments
- Strong hands-on knowledge of virtualization, Fortinet firewalls, hybrid cloud (Azure and Google Cloud), backup and disaster recovery
- Familiarity with endpoint security tools such as EDR/XDR and NAC operations
- Solid problem-solving skills, attention to detail and ability to collaborate across teams
- Clear communication and relationship-building skills for working with vendors and internal stakeholders
Key Responsibilities & Deliverables:
- Design, deploy, administer and maintain enterprise IT infrastructure and hybrid cloud environments across group sites
- Manage virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V) plus Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP and Group Policy
- Maintain core, distribution and access switching, routing, VLANs, VPNs and wireless networks for multi-site connectivity
- Configure and troubleshoot Fortinet firewalls, including HA, VPN, security policies, NAT and firmware upgrades
- Run enterprise backup, disaster recovery and business continuity solutions and test them regularly
- Monitor infrastructure performance, fix issues proactively, and take part in security hardening, VAPT remediation and audits
