Careem Pay is hiring backend care support representatives in Lahore to support daily customer care operations for its payments business. The role resolves customer issues, manages complaints, identifies pain points and proposes fixes, acting as the link between care and backend teams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
What we're looking for:
- Bachelor's degree (minimum)
- 2-3 years of experience as a customer support executive in a call centre
- Good spoken, written and reading English; Arabic is a plus
- Basic knowledge of BPO and call centre setups
- Technical aptitude; experience in branchless banking, microfinance or telecom preferred
- Willingness to work weekends, public holidays and rotating rosters; mobile wallet and payment gateway familiarity is a plus
Key Responsibilities & Deliverables:
- Meet daily deadlines and take end-to-end ownership of issue resolution
- Respond to customer queries on products like mobile recharge, P2P transfers and credit cards, or route them to the right teams
- Handle and escalate customer complaints and grievances to senior management when needed
- Follow company methodology and processes to hit KPIs, SLAs and first-contact-resolution targets
- Maintain strong follow-up and professional communication with customers
- Provide courteous, candid customer service using excellent communication skills
