Habib Bank Limited (HBL), Pakistan's largest private commercial bank, has opened 200 Cash Officer positions at branches across the country, including Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Peshawar, Quetta and Multan. This is a full-time, permanent role at the branch counter and is widely regarded as the first step into a banking career. Both men and women are encouraged to apply, and the bank states that it charges no application or processing fee at any stage. Applications are accepted online only through the bank's HBL People careers portal, before 15 November 2026.
What we're looking for:
- Bachelor's degree (graduation) from a recognized institution.
- Comfortable handling cash and numbers with strong attention to detail.
- Good communication skills in Urdu and English with a courteous, customer-first attitude.
- High personal integrity and willingness to follow strict compliance procedures.
- Fresh graduates are welcome; prior branch experience will be an advantage.
- Willing to be posted at a branch location assigned anywhere in Pakistan.
Key Responsibilities & Deliverables:
- Receive cash, cheques and deposits from customers at the branch counter and process payments and withdrawals accurately.
- Verify customer identity and documents before carrying out any cash transaction.
- Keep personal cash balanced and reconcile the day's transactions with branch records before closing.
- Follow the bank's cash-handling SOPs and internal controls so every transaction stays error-free.
- Assist walk-in customers with basic queries and guide them to the right counter or digital channel.
- Support branch goals by promoting digital banking services and simple banking products.
