Punjab Skills Development Fund (PSDF) is looking for a Company Secretary to lead its governance function from its Lahore office. The role reports directly to the Chief Executive Officer and covers board support, statutory and regulatory compliance, corporate governance and stakeholder relations. The successful candidate will work closely with the Board of Directors, its committees and senior management to keep the organisation fully compliant. PSDF is a public sector development organisation working on skills development across Punjab.
What we're looking for:
- Member of a recognised body of professional accountants, or a recognised body of corporate or chartered secretaries; or a master's degree in business administration or commerce, or a law degree from an HEC-recognised university
- Minimum 8 to 12 years of professional experience, including at least 5 years in a senior secretarial or governance role in a large organisation or development sector entity
- In-depth knowledge of the Companies Act 2017, SECP regulations, corporate governance codes and donor compliance requirements
- Experience liaising with boards, regulators and senior management
- Excellent drafting, minute-taking and record-keeping skills, with high integrity and discretion in handling confidential matters
Key Responsibilities & Deliverables:
- Support the Board of Directors, its committees and senior management on governance matters
- Prepare board agendas, papers, minutes and statutory records
- Ensure compliance with the Companies Act 2017, SECP regulations and corporate governance codes
- Handle statutory filings, regulatory correspondence and donor compliance requirements
- Liaise with the Board, regulators, donors and senior management on governance issues
- Manage corporate governance and risk management frameworks and secretarial administration
