The Punjab Information Technology Board is hiring a Cyber Security Analyst for its Lahore office on a contract basis. The role sits within the board's technology team, protecting government digital systems and data. The analyst will watch for security threats, assess risks, and help respond to incidents across PITB's platforms. Candidates need 16 years of education and at least four years of relevant experience. What we're looking for:
- 16 years of education in a relevant field
- At least 4 years of relevant experience in cyber security or a related area
- Working knowledge of security monitoring, risk analysis and incident handling
- Familiarity with networks, systems and common security tools and practices
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Maximum age 40 years; applications only through the Punjab Job Portal
Key Responsibilities & Deliverables:
- Monitor PITB systems and networks for security threats and suspicious activity
- Analyse security risks and vulnerabilities and recommend practical fixes
- Investigate security incidents and support the response and recovery work
- Help maintain security controls and policies across government digital services
- Prepare clear reports on threats, incidents and the steps taken
- Work with technical teams to keep systems, data and users protected
