Jeeny, the Middle East's fast-growing ride-hailing app with teams in Saudi Arabia, Jordan, and Pakistan, is hiring a Fullstack Engineer for its Karachi office. This is a front-end-heavy role where you will turn designs into polished, responsive web applications and work closely with product and business teams from concept to delivery. It is a good fit for someone with a couple of years of React experience who wants international exposure and to grow in a product-driven company.
What we're looking for:
- 2 to 3 years of fullstack experience with a strong focus on ReactJS
- Solid skills in React, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Experience with Redux or similar state management
- Comfortable consuming RESTful APIs and handling asynchronous requests
- Good understanding of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility
- Familiarity with build tools such as Webpack, Babel, and npm
- Node.js or PHP knowledge is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a team
Key Responsibilities & Deliverables:
- Convert wireframes and design files into responsive web applications using ReactJS and Bootstrap
- Build clean, reusable front-end components and bind them to application data
- Collaborate with designers and cross-functional teams for a smooth user experience
- Write unit and integration tests to keep code quality high
- Handle change requests and implement feature enhancements quickly
- Contribute to API design and backend tasks where needed
- Keep up with current trends in front-end technologies
