Pakistan International Airlines, the national flag carrier, is looking for a senior technology leader to head its Technology Strategy and Engineering function at the Karachi head office. The role covers the airline's technology direction, digital change programmes and engineering standards across the business. It suits an experienced technology leader who has run large engineering teams and delivered major systems in a complex organisation. What we're looking for:
- Senior leadership experience in technology strategy, engineering or enterprise architecture
- Track record of delivering large technology programmes and leading engineering teams
- Strong understanding of digital transformation, vendor management and budgeting
- Ability to work with senior management across commercial, operations and finance functions
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Key Responsibilities & Deliverables:
- Set the airline's technology strategy and multi-year engineering roadmap in line with business goals
- Lead digital transformation programmes that improve operations, revenue and the customer experience
- Define enterprise architecture, engineering standards and best practices for technology teams
- Oversee delivery of major technology projects on time, within budget and to agreed quality
- Manage technology budgets, vendor contracts and service level agreements
- Build and lead high-performing engineering teams and plan for succession
