JazzWorld is building Pakistan's next-generation digital services platform, bringing connectivity, payments, lifestyle and AI-powered services together to solve national-scale problems. In this senior leadership role, reporting directly to the Chief Strategy Officer, you will push growth beyond the company's core business by winning major institutional deals, combining products from across the Jazz group into complete solutions, building strategic partnerships, and making sound investment calls. Your portfolio will cover large public-sector names such as NADRA, BISP, FBR, the health ministries, PITB and the Punjab Health Authority.
What we're looking for:
- At least 12 years of experience in strategy, corporate development, M&A, business development or institutional sales, with 5+ years in leadership roles
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering or a related discipline
- Proven record of winning or managing large government or institutional accounts
- Strong expertise in business case development, valuation, financial modelling and deal structuring
- Good understanding of digital services across telecom, fintech and adjacent sectors
- Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills, able to lead cross-functional teams with an ownership mindset
Key Responsibilities & Deliverables:
- Build and run growth plans aimed at digitisation, financial inclusion, health, taxation and other public-sector areas, while managing key institutional accounts
- Put together combined offers using Jazz's mobile, enterprise, financial services and lifestyle products, and carry deals from first idea through pricing, negotiation and signing
- Scout new business areas and markets, weighing whether to build, partner, invest or acquire, and work with the M&A team on valuations and business cases
- Find, shape and negotiate partnerships that open new markets and revenue, including revenue-sharing models
- Track pipeline, deal conversion and revenue openly, and keep the Chief Strategy Officer updated on progress and portfolio performance
- Oversee JazzWorld and VEON investments, including decisions on restructuring or exit where needed
