Looking for jobs in Karachi in the skilled trades? Karachi Shipyard & Engineering Works (KSEW) is hiring Machine Operators for its Karachi shipyard - and skilled workers can apply online through the KSEW careers page or send an application by courier before the closing date. KSEW, working under the Ministry of Defence Production, is Pakistan's only shipyard and its oldest heavy engineering establishment. These three Machine Operator posts are part of a seven-position hiring round at the West Wharf, Dockyard Road facility, where operators run and look after the workshop machinery used in shipbuilding and heavy engineering production. Candidates with a middle or matric qualification and two to three years of relevant machine-operation experience are eligible; a relevant trade course is preferred. The age limit is 45 years, with relaxation possible for outstanding candidates. The advertisement states no salary or grade for these posts. - Support production teams to meet daily work targets
