HBL Asset Management, the asset management subsidiary of HBL, is hiring a Manager Finance for its head office in Karachi as part of an 11-role recruitment drive across IT, Finance, Research, Sales and Administration. The role sits in the Finance department and centers on fund accounting, regulatory reporting and audit coordination for the company's mutual funds. What we're looking for:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline from an HEC-recognized institution
- Minimum 4 to 6 years of relevant industry experience, preferably in asset management or banking
- ACCA qualification is preferred
- Working knowledge of SECP/SBP regulatory reporting requirements for mutual funds
- Familiarity with fund accounting processes and NAV computation
Key Responsibilities & Deliverables:
- Compile and review the daily Net Asset Value (NAV) for the company's mutual funds
- Prepare periodic financial statements for the company and its funds
- Draft and file regulatory reports required by SECP and SBP
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors during audit engagements
- Work with trustee banks on fund administration and related matters
