The Bank of Punjab is hiring a Regional Audit Head for its Operational Audit Division, based in Faisalabad. This is a senior leadership role in the bank's Internal Audit Group, responsible for how operational audits run across the region. The right person will guide audit planning, keep report quality high, and make sure controls across the bank are actually working as they should.
What we're looking for:
- Bachelor's degree, MBA, M.Com or MSc in Accounting, Finance or a related field from an HEC-recognized university; CA, ACCA or CBA is required.
- CIA, CISA or CICA certification will be preferred.
- 9 to 12 years of relevant experience, including at least 3 years in the Internal Audit Group of a commercial bank.
- Strong understanding of risk-based auditing and operational controls.
- Good report writing and presentation skills for senior management.
- Age up to 55 years as of 11 November 2026.
Key Responsibilities & Deliverables:
- Support the Head of Operational Audit in preparing the annual operational audit plan for the region.
- Plan audit engagements and build sampling matrices that match the risk profile.
- Assign audit resources sensibly and keep engagement performance on track.
- Maintain quality control over audit reports, rating models and working paper files.
- Review policies and procedures to judge whether controls are effective.
- Put together monthly and quarterly reporting packages for management.
