Daraz, South Asia's leading e-commerce marketplace and part of the Alibaba Group ecosystem, is hiring a Senior BI Analyst for its Operations function in Karachi. The role sits at the center of data-driven decision making for logistics and commercial operations, turning raw data into strategies that improve seller performance, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency. It is an on-site, full-time permanent position suited to an analyst who can combine technical BI skills with clear business storytelling.
What we're looking for:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Statistics, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in business intelligence or financial analysis
- Strong SQL skills including complex queries and performance optimization
- Analytical toolkit: ROI analysis, A/B testing, statistical methods
- Proficiency with visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI
Key Responsibilities & Deliverables:
- Partner with business teams to shape strategies tied to commercial and operational objectives
- Build detailed reports and dashboards that track business and logistics performance
- Automate repetitive manual tasks with Python scripting
- Reconcile data discrepancies across sources, tracing root causes and aligning stakeholders
- Evaluate seller operations and business performance to lift customer satisfaction
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and planning models using SQL, spreadsheets, and Python, and turn analysis into clear written recommendations
