ExDimension Inc is hiring a Software Quality Assurance Engineer for its Lahore office, working in a hybrid setup. The role leads quality work across the software development life cycle, from test planning to release, and helps keep products reliable for customers. It suits an experienced QA specialist who is strong in manual testing and comfortable with automation.
What we're looking for:
- 5 or more years of hands-on software quality assurance experience, mainly in manual testing
- Strong knowledge of the software development and testing life cycles
- Experience with test planning, test design and test case management
- Working knowledge of automation tools and basic scripting in Python
- Familiarity with APIs, databases, Azure DevOps, Jira and GitHub
- Clear communication skills and experience working in Agile teams
Key Responsibilities & Deliverables:
- Plan and carry out manual testing across web, desktop, mobile and API products
- Design test cases and check software against requirements and specifications
- Find, record and track defects, working with developers until they are fixed
- Run regression, system and performance tests before releases and after changes
- Build and maintain automated tests and use tools such as Selenium and Python
- Review test results, report on quality and suggest ways to improve testing
