The position carries Grade Band-5 / Band-3 with market-based competitive remuneration. The selected candidate will lead the Credit Card Reconciliation Unit, supervising day-to-day settlement and reconciliation activity across both the issuing and acquiring sides of the cards business, and working closely with card schemes, settlement banks, processors, vendors and internal teams to keep every transaction accounted for. What we're looking for:
- Minimum Bachelor's degree from an HEC-recognized university (local or foreign)
- Minimum 9 years of banking or non-banking experience

Key Responsibilities & Deliverables:
- Lead daily, weekly and monthly reconciliation of credit card and merchant settlements, including MDR, interchange fees, processor statements and general ledger entries
- Oversee both issuing (cardholder transactions) and acquiring (merchant settlements and POS networks) sides of the card business
- Resolve variance backlogs, unmatched entries and open aging items within deadlines
- Maintain relationships with card schemes (Visa, MasterCard, UPI), settlement banks and third-party processors
- Develop and maintain internal control procedures for the reconciliation unit
- Monitor transactions for misuse, system errors and unauthorized charges
- Work with vendors, IT and core banking teams to resolve systemic processing issues
- Drive automation from manual tracking to dedicated reconciliation software
- Deliver training on card network rules and operational controls
- Prepare management reports on aging breaks, open risks and financial impact
- Keep the unit's audit and internal control ratings at acceptable levels
